Rijnvallei Voeders B.V. has acquired the shares in Coohold B.V. and its subsidiary Van Cooten Diervoeders B.V. Rembrandt M&A acted as the exclusive financial advisor of the buyer.
Rijnvallei is an agricultural cooperation with over 2300 members. The cooperation produces animal feed, fertilizers, and crop protection agents. Rijnvallei is the result of a large number of mergers; the organization at the root of the organization was founded in 1900.

The basis for Van Cooten Diervoeders was created in 1880 by the Van Cooten family. The company offers quality feed for horses, dogs, and other hobby animals. Besides brocks, Van Cooten also sells cereals. The feed is sold in bulk or in bags, both directly and by means of an extensive network of dealers. As part of Rijnvallei, Van Cooten has changed its name to Masters Diervoeding.
